Belgian Infantry Officer Sword „Ecole Royale Militaire“ M1889, steel-scabbard and clothcase
Art. No.: 1241
Blade:
Forged stainless steel, hardened and tempered to a hardness of 48-55° HRC Rockwell ca., hand-polished.  
Dimensions: ca. 810 x 22 x 5.5 mm. Highly-polished finish.
Acid Etching: "POUR LE ROI ET LA PATRIE" on one side and the initials of the King on the other side.
Hand-Guard Set:
Solid brass guard, consisting of hand-chiseled top nut, pommel and guard. Manually set and polished.
Finish: 24 carat goldplated.
Handle:
Strong and solid ABS handle with sharkskin imitation surface, 3 double-twisted brass wires in golden colour wrapped around the handle grooves.
Scabbard:
Handmade scabbard made of a seemless steel tube,  polished, fitted with 1 carrying ring made of stainless steel.
Interior with 2 slats for protection of the blade. Total length ca. 850 mm.
Finish: Nickelplated.
