Canadian Armed Forces Infantry – Officer Sword
This sword and scabbard are crafted in accordance with the British MOD specifications UK/SC/6202 Issue 1 using the tooling purchased from Wilkinson Sword Ltd. in 2005. As such, they also meet the Canadian DND/DSSPM specifications.
Blade
o Dimensions: 825 x 25 x 6.5mm
o Specifications: forged stainless steel blade; hardened to ca 48-52° HRC Rockwell, well-tempered and hand-polished
o Design: acid etched both sides with the CAF Infantry pattern; etched to a depth that one can feel with a fingernail
Guard: pierced guard with Royal cypher design, hand-polished, nickel-plated with nickel-plated brass cap
Grip: covered with genuine sharkskin, wrapped with three silver-plated wires
Scabbard:
Your choice of a nickel-plated steel scabbard with 2 rings or leather scabbards in brown or black
