Peru Air Force Officer Sword with scabbard
Peruvian Air Force Officer Sword with leather scabbard, with blade etching
Blade:
Forged stainless steel, hardened and tempered to a hardness of 48-55° HRC Rockwell ca., hand-polished. The blade is flexible and straight.
Acid etched on both sides with the IAF pattern.
Dimensions: ca. 810 x 22 x 5 mm. (other sizes available)
Hand-Guard Set
Solid brass guard, consisting of ball top nut, pommel, ring, guard and shell. Manually set and polished.
24-carat goldplated finish.
Handle:
Strong and solid ABS handle fully wrapped with 3 double-twisted brass wires,silverplated.
Other handles in wood are available on request.
Scabbard:
Seemless PU tube, covered with black calf-leather.
The fittings are handmade of brass tightly secured to the tube with screws (no glue).
2 carrying rings.
Interior with 2 slats for protection of the blade.
Total length ca. 850 mm.
Finish: 24-carat goldplated.
