On January 2nd, 1956, for the first time after World War II, voluntary citizens were drafted into the Ebkeriege barracks in Wilhelmshaven. These were the first marines in the young Bundeswehr.

For them, the motto of the anniversary year 2006 "For peace in freedom and justice" would have been just as concise as it is for today's members of the Navy.

The German Navy not only secures the sea routes in German coastal waters, as it did during the Cold War, but now worldwide.

The anniversary year 2006 gave rise to a retrospective of what has been achieved in 50 years.

As an anniversary edition, W. K. C. is offering a limited special model of the Imperial Navy Dagger, with a limited edition of just 500 pieces worldwide.

Using original tools and templates from the imperial era, a naval dagger is made with fine swordsmanship, the quality of which is evidence of extraordinary craftsmanship.
