Hand-forged and hardened blade made of high-alloy carbon steel. Ideal for Tameshigiri.
The Phoenix Katana with differential hardened carbon steel blade from WKC, forged from high-alloy C95 steel, is a high-quality katana, particularly suitable for training and cutting exercises. The blade is ground very sharp. Good price-performance ratio in valuable quality.
Sugata (blade shape):
Hand forged with bohi (groove) on both sides and with chu-kissaki (tip). Hardened carbon steel made from C95 material. The hardness of the back (Mune) is approximately 55° HRC Rockwell and the Ha (edge) is approximately 61° HRC Rockwell (differential hardening). Real Hamon line where the differential hardening becomes clear.
