Sword care kit

The oil:

Used to prevent the sword from rusting. Since the oil dries away after a while, it is advisable to oil the sword at least once a month.
The powder puff:

(Uchiko) can be used for multiple things. The Uchiko removes the old oil that is still on the sword and improves the surface of the sword with the treatment of the Nuguigami.

The cleaning paper:

(Nuguigami) is not a simple paper but a particularly high-quality, thick Japanese paper. It is used to clean the old oil from the sword and to clean the white powder from the uchiko.

The brass hammer: (Mekuginuki) is used to remove the holding dowels (Mekugi) from the handle in order to disassemble the sword. The hammer head can be unscrewed from the pin for use.
