French Navy official model - developed by WKC for the French Ministry of Defense.
- Outfit: Polished brass outfit, finely chiselled ornamentation with ropes and anchor. Painted several times against oxidation.
- Blade: Forged from stainless steel. Hardened and tempered to approx. 52° HRC Rockwell.
- Handle ABS, black, polished.
- Scabbard: Tubular steel, slightly curved, covered with genuine cowhide, sewn, 2 brass fittings with 2 carrying rings, varnished to prevent oxidation.
- Length of the saber : approx. 890 mm. Weight with sheath: approx. 1 000 gr

Blade:
Forged stainless steel, hardened and tempered to approx. 48-55 HRC Rockwell, hand ground and polished. Elegant curve.
The surface of the blade is polished and bears no manufacturer logo (Ricasso free for engravings).
One fuller per side. Blade dimensions: approx. 810 x 22 x 5.5 mm. This results in a total length of the saber of 100 cm including the scabbard.
Different lengths available.
Etching:
Traditional acid etching on both sides (damascene), with the symbols of the Carabinieri and two fields for personal engravings.
Guard:
Cast from solid brass, consisting of screw (seal), cap, bracket and grip strap. Hand set, ground and polished. Shiny nickel plated finish.
Handle:
Made of particularly durable ABS plastic, black, smooth or with finger grooves for a firm grip (standard) - Optional wooden handles handmade from real
smoked oak.
Sheath:
Curved stainless steel tube with brass grommet, handmade, ground and polished. With 2 stainless steel carrying rings and the coat of arms of the
Carabineri (Stemma).
Finish: bright nickel
The inside of the sheath tube is equipped with plastic scratch protection on both sides for the blade. Length of the sheath approx. 850 mm (with blade 810mm -
