Württemberg Infantry Officer's Sword (IOD) with steel scabbard,
Blade: Forged high carbon steel, nickel-plated, hardened and tempered to approx. 48-55 HRC Rockwell, hand-ground and polished.
2 hollow lanes per side. Dimensions: approx. 810 x 22 x 5.5 mm
Outfit: Cast from solid brass, consisting of screw, cap with monogram, temple with folding hinge and grip strap. Hand set, ground and polished. 24 carat gold plated.
Handle: Covered with real fish skin, wrapped with three twisted and silver-plated brass wires.
Sheath: Seamless tubular steel with socket, handcrafted, ground and polished. With 2 carrying rings made of stainless steel. Finish: bright nickel
Inside of the sheath with scratch protection for the blade on both sides. Length of the scabbard approx. 850 mm.
